POLYCARBONATE GLASS QUESTIONS
Will polycarbonate glasses scratch?
All plastics scratch; the key is to minimize the scratching. Almost all scratching occurs during cleaning and when the glasses are stacked inside each other. So, do not use harsh brushes or abrasive cleaners when cleaning.
Will polycarbonate glasses go foggy?
No. Unlike many plastic products, these polycarbonate glasses will not go foggy or cloudy or stress ‘craze’. If the glasses appear to go foggy then it is a build up of detergent film (caused by using too much detergent) which is easily cleaned off by soaking in water and a small amount of bleach or by adding a little vinegar to your dishwasher.
Will polycarbonate glasses break or shatter?
Polycarbonate is a very tough material, it is the same material as used to make bullet proof glass and is virtually impossible to break.
Are polycarbonate glasses dishwasher safe?
Yes. It is recommended that they be placed on the top shelf and not too much detergent used. Polycarbonate will withstand up to 140?C.
How long will polycarbonate glasses last?
Polycarbonate glasses will look good and last for thousands of uses if cared for with gentle cleaning and no stacking.
Will polycarbonate glasses frost if placed in the refridgerator?
Yes, just like glass, but with the advantage that they will not become brittle.
Will polycarbonate glasses keep the beverage colder for longer compared to a glass product?
Yes, these polycarbonate glasses are great insulators so that cold drink stay colder for much longer than they would in glass.

FINE CHINA & BONE CHINA INFORMATION
How do I care for China?
Usage
China must not be subject to extreme changes in temperature or exposed to a naked flame. Plates and serving dishes can be warmed before use in an oven or hostess trolley at a temperature of no more than 100 degrees centigrade. Tableware with a gold or platinum trim must not be used in a microwave. Fine bone china should not be used for cooking purposes. Fine china is suitable for use both in the freezer and oven.
Washing
China can be washed in a dishwasher - at a maximum temperature of 65 degrees centigrade. When washing by hand, avoid the use of scouring pads and abrasive washing detergents. Most stains or hardened-on particles can be removed by soaking the item in warm water before washing. Really stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour.
Storage
When storing plates, try not to slide them over one another, as this may cause scratches in the glaze. The surface used on tableware is hard, however the front of one plate can be scratched by the back of another, so care should be taken when stacking.
We recommend that a paper napkin be placed between each plate. Cups should be stored or hung from a cup hook, not stacked, as this weakens the handles.
