Purchase of products

Orders

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.

Contract creation and electronic contracting

The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
· You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website.
· We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Coast Interiors Limited.
· As your product is shipped we will send you a despatch confirmation email.
· Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Change or cancel an order.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
· The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.
· Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.
· The identification of a pricing or product description error.
· You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions.
The contract will be concluded in English.

Delivery

We normally despatch entire orders when all items are in stock.

If items are out of stock they will be ordered and despatched as soon as possible. Customers have the option to cancel out of stock orders if they wish.

The address for delivery shall be as specified in the customers order.

Parcels may require a signature on delivery. If customers will not be at the specified delivery address they should supply and alternative secure place in which the parcel may be left. Please note that we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any delay caused by third parties including Business Post, Royal Mail or any mailing/courier service companies that we may use to deliver goods.

We cannot be held responsible for any import taxes or duties levied by authorities in the destination country. If you have any queries as regards duty on imports we suggest you contact your local customs office for further information.

Goods should be checked on delivery. Any damage/discrepancies to be notified to Coast Interiors Limited within 3 days and e-mailed to confirm within 14 days of receipt of product(s).

Risk & Ownership

Risk of damage or loss of the products shall pass on to the customer on delivery, or if the customer fails to take delivery of the products, at the time when the products are delivery (or delivery is attempted) to the customer in accordance with their instructions.

Title in the products shall pass to the customer upon receipt of the goods and on Coast Interiors’ receipt of the full payment. Legal ownership will immediately revert to Coast Interiors if we refund any such payment to the customer or if the goods are returned in accordance with any cancellation, refund or exchange policy as posted on this website.

Returns

Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount. Please note: We are not responsible for return postage other than for incorrectly supplied, defective or damaged goods.
Unfortunately we cannot accept cancellations for personalised products as it is unlikely we will be able to resell them. In respect of personalised/made-to-order products our usual refund policy does not apply and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.
